Yes. The NLRC or the courts may take jurisdictional cognizance over compromise agreements/settlements involving labor matters in case of non-compliance thereof or if there is prima facie evidence that the settlement was obtained through fraud, misrepresentation, or coercion.

b.

Statements/data made at conciliation proceedings in the Department of Labor Employment shall be treated as privileged communication and shall not be used as evidence in the NLRC. This is to encourage conciliation and amicable settlement between the parties.
