As a rule, retirement is due if the employee reached the retirement age established in collective bargaining agreement or other applicable employment contract. In the absence of agreement or contract, an employee may retire if he is at least sixty years old. The compulsory retirement age is sixty-five years.

b.

For underground miners, retirement is due if he is at least fifty years old. The compulsory retirement age for miners is sixty years.
